Chrissy is a native Daytonian, but now lives in Brooklyn, New York, where she works full time as a high school teacher. Chrissy serves as the Administrative Assistant and tries to help out wherever she can. She is passionate about social justice issues, and works to advocate for and amplify the voices of marginalized, oppressed communities. Chrissy began her relationship with Hope Collective Church in June, 2020, when she volunteered for the Pride parade. After meeting such incredible people, and learning more about HCC’s mission for inclusivity, affirmation, and love, she knew she needed to be a part of that work. She joined the team in January, 2022. Chrissy loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, explore new places and cultures, and cuddling with her 16 year old fur baby, Andre.
